Flag Football

The Woodridge Recreation Association offers flag football to children in 1st and 2nd grade. This is a great way to introduce your child to the basic rules and concepts of football. Many of the children in the flag football program move on to play in our tackle football program in third grade. 

The flag football season starts in early fall. All games and practices are held at the Woodridge Middle School. Each team will practice / play two days each week. 

The WRA will supply a uniform t-shirt and flag belt which the players get to keep. Players should wear a molded rubber athletic cleat. Games are held rain or shine – practices are at the disgression of the coaches.
