Baseball
New to 2024!!!! Woodridge Youth Baseball has now joined forces with the Stow Youth Baseball (Stow Baseball ). They offer coaches clinics, certified and trained umpires, off season indoor clinics as well as multiple well maintained fields. Our teams will represent the Woodridge community as will our team jerseys, much like other Woodridge Recreation sports. We are very excited for this new change and look forward to the growth of our Woodridge Youth Baseball program alongside the Stow Youth Baseball. Registration will continue to be completed on the Woodridge Recreation Association website. Thank you all for your support.
Co-ed T-Ball – League consists of boys and girls. Ages 4/5
Cost – $45
Designed for kids ages 4 or 5 (Ages as of 4/30 for the baseball season)
Two Sessions – Spring Session (April 17 -June 4) and Summer Session (June 19 – August 5)
Will practice one weeknight a week with games on Saturdays
One-hour time limit for games
Uses a molded core or sponge rubber center baseball
Geared towards learning fundamentals
League Information:
All games and practices will be held at Oregon Trails Park. We have 4 fields behind the parking lot (Off Graham Rd, across the street from Woodland Elementary). There is also more parking for fields #3 and #4 from the park off of Fishcreek (Red Park by Fire Station) if necessary.
COACH PITCH
Cost – $75
Designed for kids ages 4 or 5 (Ages as of 4/30 for the baseball season)
Two Sessions – Spring Session (April 17 -June 4) and Summer Session (June 19 – August 5)
Will practice one weeknight a week with games on Saturdays

The practices run one night a week from 6-7 pm, games will be Saturdays from 10-11 am. There could be a weeknight game if we have conflicts due to holidays, rainouts, etc. We will have 7 practices scheduled, along with 6 games. There will be one Saturday practice early in the season before the games start. We will also have a picture day, date TBA.
I LEAGUE
Cost – $75 (Spring),
For Players ages 6 or 7 (Age as of 4/30 for the baseball season)
Two Sessions – Spring Session (April 1-June 26) and Fall Session (August 15-September 26)
Will practice one weeknight a week with games on Saturdays in April
1 weeknight game and 1 Saturday game in May and June
10-12 games a season
1.5 hours time limit for games
A regulation baseball is utilized
No standings will be kept at this level, scores will be kept, but not posted
I League is a hybrid coach pitch program that helps transition kids from coach pitch to kid pitch.
This league increases the focus on individual player skills and development as well as an increased exposure to game situations.
H GOLD
Cost – $75 (Spring)
Designed for kids ages 7 or 8 (Age as of 4/30 for the baseball season)
Two Sessions – Spring Session(April 1-June 26) and a Fall Session-Team Registration(August 15-September 26)
Will practice one weeknight during April
Games start in May with games on Mon, Wed, or Fri
Two hour time limit for games
A regulation baseball is utilized.
Kid Pitch is introduced while continuing to focus on fundamentals and game situations.
H-MAROON
Cost – $75 (Spring)
Designed for kids ages 9 or 10 (Age as of 4/30 for the baseball season)
Two Sessions – Spring Session(April 1-June 26) and a Fall Session-Team Registration(August 15-September 26)
Will practice one weeknight during April
Games start in May with games on Tues, Thursday or Saturday
Two hour time limit for games
Stealing and lead offs are introduced while continuing to focus on fundamentals and game situations.
G LEAGUE
Cost – $75 (Spring)
Designed for kids ages 11 or 12 (Age as of 4/30 for the baseball season)
Two Sessions – Spring Session(April 1-June 26) and a Fall Session-Team Registration(August 15-September 26)
Will practice one weeknight during April
Games start in May with games on Wednesday and Saturday
2 hour time limit for games
F LEAGUE
Cost – $75 (Spring)
Designed for kids ages 13 or 14 (Age as of 4/30 for the baseball season)
Two Sessions – Spring Session(April 1-June 26) and a Fall Session-Team Registration(August 15-September 26)
Practices start in April
Games start in May with games primarily on Tuesday and Saturday
E LEAGUE
For players ages 15-18 (Age as of 4/30 for the baseball season) All skill levels and communities welcome.
Cost – $75 (Spring), $900 per team that comes to the league pre-formed (provide their own uniforms) 15-18 game season. If you have a team or part of a team and are interested please email or call the E league coordinator. Teams that can provide 60/90 fields for some games are eligible to have a reduced price based on prorated basis. Games will not start until after Memorial Day.
